It has been a LOOOOONG time since I really have done anything on this blog. I really haven't had much to share. Winter has been long for me this year. It seems to me that as I get older the longer and harder winter is. Makes me sound ancient doesn't it? Honestly, it was about all I could do to get up, school the kids, take care of my husband and keep on top of the housework. I would be lying if I said I did all of that without fail. But spring is in the air, it is warmer outside, it is staying light later and I feel like I can take a deep breath and come back to life. What a GREAT feeling.

A walk down memory lane
Growing up, I was the youngest of the family. I had older siblings to lead the way. One of the things that I enjoyed as a result was music from a slightly older generation. So I was listening to really cool things at a really young age. One of the classic, older stuff is the music of Keith Green. He was one of the musicians that paved the way for what we now know as Contemporary Christian music. There was Southern Gospel, old time hymns and Keith Green. I spent many years going to sleep listening to his cassette tapes. Unfortunately, Keith died early and tragically in an airplane crash in about 1981 (not real sure of the year, but that is close)But his music has lived on. I found this video of him performing live on youtube. This was one of my VERY favorite songs he sang, I still know it word for word and it is still my prayer.
PS I thought of you Tim when I watched it. You are one of the few people I know who not only knows of him but loves his music too!!
